Implications of bilirubin encephalopathy

Zagid is supported only by his mother. 20 years ago, a healthy son was born to Javgarat, who was named Zagid.

One day the baby was infected with jaundice. But since this was not discovered immediately, no action was taken. Bilirubin rose sharply to 800. There was bilirubin encephalopathy. Later, doctors suspected meningitis and even performed a spinal cord puncture. But this diagnosis was not confirmed. However, Zagid became disabled.⁣⁣⁣ All these years they were treated as best they could. So, and until now, Javgarat herself has done everything possible to alleviate the situation for her son. Zagid lies all the time, cannot even sit. And although he understands addressed speech, he has not learned to speak.⁣

⁣Javgarat turned to the “Insan” Foundation with a request to help organize a collection for her son. Visiting specialists can help Zagid start the chewing function, teach him to hold his head. And in general, Zagid's condition will improve. But this requires funds that Javgarat does not have. She sincerely hopes that caring people will help her son.⁣
